Clinics

Australia, with its relatively low population, has had outstanding international results for decades in the Javelin throw. Kelsey-Lee Barber won consecutive World Championships in 2019 and 2022. Mackenzie Little won the Bronze medal in the World Championships in 2023. Kathryn Mitchell won Commonwealth Games Gold in 2018 and has achieved top 8 performances in four Olympic Games.

Javelin throw is a very technical event. Therefore, learning its fundamental movements at a young age is crucial for later success. We are extremely lucky in Australia to have an outstanding expert in this field, Uwe Hohn. Not only has Uwe thrown the javelin further than anybody else in history - as well as the only man to throw the javelin over 100m - he has been one of the most regarded javelin coaches in the World. Uwe has been using the Finnflier® for many years to teach young athletes the fundamentals required to make the javelin fly. In our clinics we use the methods of Uwe to ensure athletes can learn and understand the crucial positions and movements of the javelin throw. Using Finnflier® in our clinics makes the learning process very effective and safe for all levels. Finnflier® is a safer alternative to using real javelins for clubs and schools, to teach kids from age 6, the javelin throw.

We organize clinics regularly and advertising it at our social media sites.
